112th Hayes Valley Carnival

PROXY, the Hayes Valley Merchants Association, and the Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association were excited to bring back the infamous Hayes Valley Carnival on its 112-year anniversary with a joyous, community-centered celebration. This free, family-friendly celebration featured the show Bananas! by Circus Bella and published in The Bold Italic “Everything was bananas at the Hayes Valley Carnival”.

The original Hayes Valley carnival was a celebration and reminder of the vibrancy and tenacity of the city after the destruction of the 1906 earthquake and fires. The carnival reinvigorated residents, businesses, and the city at large with a joyful community celebration.
